The Founder’s Journey: From Vision to Impact
Behind Ezeyouth Empowerment Uganda is a story of passion, resilience, and a deep desire to create change.
The founder, Ezekiel Ssekinobe, began his journey with a simple but powerful observation—many young people in Uganda were educated, yet unemployed. Despite spending years in school, they lacked the practical skills needed to earn a living or start a business. This reality was even more evident among school dropouts and youth from underserved communities who had limited access to opportunities.
Rather than accepting this as the norm, Ezekiel saw it as a challenge worth solving.
With a strong interest in entrepreneurship, innovation, and digital skills, he started exploring ways to empower fellow youth with practical knowledge. His early efforts were small—sharing skills, guiding peers, and helping individuals understand how they could turn simple ideas into income-generating activities.
However, the impact was immediate.
Young people who received this guidance began starting small businesses, learning digital skills, and gaining confidence in their ability to create income. This success inspired a bigger vision: to build a structured platform that could reach more people and create lasting impact.
That vision gave birth to Ezeyouth Empowerment Uganda.
What began as a small initiative quickly grew into a movement focused on equipping youth and women with hands-on skills in areas like digital marketing, graphic design, food production, and entrepreneurship. The mission was clear—to move beyond theory and focus on practical, real-world training that delivers results.
Ezekiel’s journey has not been without challenges. Limited resources, access to funding, and reaching the right audience were all obstacles along the way. But through determination, creativity, and a commitment to the mission, he continued to push forward—building partnerships, expanding programs, and reaching more communities.
Today, Ezeyouth Empowerment stands as a testament to what is possible when vision meets action. It is not just an organization—it is a platform of opportunity, hope, and transformation for many young people across Uganda.
And the journey is just getting started.
